San Bernardino South Hotel

This Best Western showed my friends and i great customer service when I had misread my check out time. I asked if there could be a later check out time and Alex and Theresa went above and beyond to help us!! Breakfast was delicious too! It was fresh and tasty and had many options if you have dietary restrictions. I recently stayed at the Hampton inn but had a better experience at the Best Western overall. Rooms are on the small so that is why I’d give it four stars. It can get cramped with more than a few people, but other than that, this was an extremely pleasant experience.

I Loved staying here. The staff, is easy to talk to, and very helpful. The rooms are nice, quiet and clean. I was expecting much worse because the price was perfect for my budget and this Hotel was close to everything San Bernardino has to offer.

The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean, So is the groundskeeping! I have been a regular visitor myself. I would definitely suggest staying here to anyone.

I love everything about this place. The breakfast is really delicious. They have eggs (scrambled). They have sausages. Cold cereal or hot oatmeal. Baby muffins. Coffee, apple juice, orange juice. Toast and jelly and butter. So if your ever in this area. Stop by sure stay hotel by best western. You will not be disappointed at all. The woman that clean these rooms do an excellent job. Each and everyone of them. And there really fast about it.

Incredible customer service and assistance, I left my favorite pillow in the room and Moira the manager was an absolute dream with her assistance in helping this poor silly child navigate the murky waters usps shipping and getting my pillow home safe and sound. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. I even checked ours with a black light, it was spotless! The property is well maintained and feels very safe, there is ample parking on the lot for guests and on a nearby street for overnight overflow around rave events. As far as location, it's closely located to a variety of good restaurants that can fill any number of niches, and is super close to the NOS center, which is my main reason for traveling to San Bernardino Thanks for the incredible stay and your support in the time since!

Four stars. Clean and reasonably priced. Building is a bit worn but for the price you cant expect renovations. Staff at checking was very friendly. Room had wood instead of carpet, which is better for sanitation. The bed was decent it squeeked a bit but again for the price not a big deal. Room includes wifi and complimentary breakfast from 6-10am. No disruptions at night with noisy hallways since the room doors face the street. Nice touch was my husband went looking for a vending machine and the front desk told him they had complementary snacks and let him pick a few. Over all 3 stars hotel is average (for value its good) what made it a 4 star is the staff going above and beyond.

Stayed here while in town for business. The good stuff: Rooms are slightly dated, but maintained well. Very happy with the cleanliness. I even checked the air filters on the AC unit and they were clean. WiFi is nice and fast, even when using my VPN. The free grab-n-go breakfast is good (breakfast sandwich or burrito, juice, fruit). Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Fridge and microwave work good. Location is great, very close to restaurants and the freeway. Staff are very friendly. Some negatives: Bathroom is a bit small, but not terrible. It does have a tub though. Shower could use more water pressure. No in-room safe. Keep that in mind if you have things you need to lock up. The AC unit blows directly across the top of the bed. I had to sleep on the other side of the bed with a wall of pillows so I wouldn't freeze or dry out. Not a lot of extra power outlets. Keep that in mind if you need to charge a lot of devices. Walls are THIN. You will hear your neighbors. Pool and hot tub are closed, and I don't remember reading that on the website when I booked. Overall: reasonably-priced and clean. Worth checking out if you just need a clean place to stay in the area for a couple of days.

Pros: I booked 2 rooms for the night, both rooms were immaculate and clean. The parking lot was very well lit and there wasn't a bunch of weirdos walking around all night like there are in some of the surrounding hotels. Cons: the walls are kinda thin, and it sounds like a jet engine taking off whenever someone in the neighboring room turned on the shower. The beds were about a 3/5 in comfort and if you plan on doing anything more than sleeping , they squeak... A LOT. The hotel is on a main street near a freeway entrance so I heard a few sirens during the night but other than that it wasn't loud. Overall the experience was pleasant and I would recommend it to any weary travelers or people looking for a relaxing night without the kids.
